Ashleigh Polymer Bollard

The Ashleigh Polymer Bollard stands out within the Townscape Products Performa-Cast range for its use of multiple recessed Class 2 reflective bands. Where many bollards carry a single reflective element, the Ashleigh uses more than one band set into the body of the bollard, increasing its visibility to pedestrians and drivers in low light and at night without relying on proximity or ideal conditions to do so.

The recessed detail is important. By setting the bands into the bollard body rather than applying them to the surface, Townscape Products has ensured they are protected from the everyday knocks and abrasion that bollards in busy public spaces routinely experience. The reflectivity performs consistently throughout the bollard's working life without needing repair or replacement.

Manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products, the Ashleigh is cast from Performa-Cast polyurethane polymer and stands 950mm above ground on a 145mm diameter body. That puts it in a useful mid-range position within the Performa-Cast collection: tall enough to be clearly visible and effective as a perimeter marker, compact enough not to feel heavy-handed in settings where a lighter presence is preferred. At 20kg, it is straightforward for site teams to handle and install.

Installation is via a below-ground fix to a depth of 300mm. The bollard is supplied in a standard colour range with custom finishes available on request, all applied in-house by Townscape Products.

The Ashleigh suits a broad range of settings where reliable visibility matters: pedestrianised town centres, transport interchange approaches, car park perimeters, and any public space where the bollard may need to be seen clearly after dark or in poor weather.
