The bin is cast from high-quality concrete and fixed to the ground, giving it the stability and permanence that public realm managers, local authorities and landscape architects need. At 760mm tall with a 500mm diameter, it occupies a practical footprint without dominating the surrounding space. The 70-litre capacity suits most pedestrianised areas, town centre locations and transport settings, while the included internal basket keeps waste contained and makes servicing straightforward.
Weighing 160kg, the Braunton resists interference and vandalism without any additional security measures. That weight, combined with a solid concrete construction, means it stays exactly where it is installed.
Finish options are extensive. Specifiers can choose from Smooth Prestige Mixes or select from a range of Exposed Natural Aggregate Mixes. This makes it straightforward to coordinate with existing hard landscaping, paving materials or other street furniture within a scheme. Custom colour mixes are also available on request.
The Braunton is supplied as a single unit and is suitable for new public realm projects as well as replacement of existing infrastructure.
