Chester Polyurethane Bollard

The Chester Polyurethane Bollard is the most slender option in the Townscape Products Performa-Cast polymer range. With a 135mm diameter and a 900mm above-ground height, it has a noticeably lighter presence than larger bollard formats, making it a practical choice for settings where perimeter definition is needed without a heavy or dominant visual impact.

Manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products, the Chester is cast from Performa-Cast polymer, a durable polyurethane material that performs reliably in outdoor environments without rusting, corroding or requiring significant ongoing maintenance. At just 15kg, it is the lightest bollard in the range, which simplifies both transport and installation considerably.

The bollard is fixed below ground to a depth of 300mm, giving a stable installation that keeps the Chester upright and secure in day-to-day use. Its slim profile makes it particularly well suited to footpath edges, cycle lane delineation, car park perimeters and low-traffic pedestrian areas where a heavier bollard would feel disproportionate to its surroundings.

Finished in a standard colour range as above, the Chester can also be specified with a Beadalite reflective coating for locations where visibility at night or in low-light conditions is a consideration. Custom colours and finishes are available on request through the Townscape sales team, as all painting and finishing is carried out in-house.

The Chester is also known within the range as the Morpeth. If you are specifying this bollard under either name, please confirm requirements with the Townscape sales team at the point of order. As with all products in the Performa-Cast range, bespoke finish requirements can be accommodated for larger projects.
