Commander Polymer Bollard
The Commander is a UK-manufactured Performa-Cast polymer bollard with a distinctive profile, available in three diameters: 90mm, 127mm and 168mm. All share a 900mm above-ground height and suit a broad range of urban and public realm applications.
Product Details:
The Commander Polymer Bollard is a hardworking, field-proven design from the Townscape Products Performa-Cast range. It has been installed across a wide variety of UK urban environments and its track record in real-world public realm settings reflects a bollard that performs consistently without requiring attention once in the ground.
Three diameter options are available, selectable when placing an order: 90mm, 127mm and 168mm. All three share the same 900mm above-ground height and 300mm below-ground fixing depth, so the diameter choice can be made purely on the basis of what suits the site visually and functionally, without any change to the installation process.
The 90mm variant is the most slender of the three at 12kg and is available as a removable version with a below-ground fix shoe, making it a practical choice for locations where occasional vehicle access is needed alongside regular perimeter definition. The 127mm version at 15kg occupies a useful middle ground, suitable for a wide range of general public realm applications from car park perimeters to pedestrianised streets. The 168mm variant at 18kg has the most presence of the three and is the right choice where a bolder, more defined barrier is needed in busier or higher-profile locations.
Manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products, the Commander is cast from Performa-Cast polyurethane polymer, a material that holds up well in outdoor environments without rusting, corroding or requiring significant ongoing maintenance. Its consistent performance across all three sizes reflects over 50 years of street furniture manufacturing experience behind every product.
Supplied in a standard colour range, with custom finishes available on request and applied in-house. Please confirm fixing requirements for the 90mm variant at the point of ordering.
