Darlington Polyurethane Bollard

The Darlington Polyurethane Bollard combines a tall above-ground height with a generous diameter to create one of the most visually substantial options in the Townscape Products Performa-Cast polymer range. At 1100mm high and 195mm wide, it has a confident, upright presence that is well suited to locations where the bollard needs to read clearly at a distance or hold its own in a large open space.

Despite that combination of height and width, the Darlington weighs just 17kg. For a bollard of its scale that is a notable characteristic, making handling and installation on site considerably more straightforward than the dimensions alone might suggest. It is a practical benefit that specifiers and installation teams alike will appreciate, particularly on projects where multiple units are being installed across a large area.

Manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products, the bollard is cast from Performa-Cast polyurethane polymer and benefits from the full range of material advantages that the Performa-Cast range is known for: no rust, no corrosion, good resistance to weathering and a finish that holds up well in exposed outdoor environments with minimal ongoing maintenance required.

Two fixing options are available, selectable when requesting a quote. The root-fixed version is permanently installed to a below-ground depth of 300mm, making it the right choice for static schemes where the bollard position will not need to change. The removable version uses a below-ground fix shoe, allowing the bollard to be lifted out and reinstated without groundworks when temporary or occasional vehicle access is required. Both variants share identical above-ground dimensions and appearance, so they can be used together within the same scheme without any visual inconsistency.
