Dome Top Polymer Bollard

The Dome Top Polymer Bollard is one of the most recognisable forms in the Townscape Products Performa-Cast range. Where most bollards in the collection have a flat or chamfered top, the Dome Top's rounded head gives it an immediately distinct silhouette that is easy to identify from a distance and familiar to pedestrians and drivers alike. That visual clarity, combined with a recessed Class 2 reflective band, makes this bollard a particularly practical choice for locations where being seen matters as much as being there.

The recessed reflective band is a considered design detail. Rather than sitting proud of the surface where it could be damaged or worn away, the Class 2 reflective band is set into the body of the bollard, protecting it from the kind of incidental contact that high-footfall and road-adjacent locations regularly produce. This helps maintain effective reflectivity throughout the bollard's working life without the need for repair or replacement.

Manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products, the Dome Top is cast from Performa-Cast polyurethane polymer and stands 1100mm above ground on a 130mm diameter body. That tall, slim profile gives it good visibility from a distance without a heavy physical footprint on the ground. At 17kg, it is light enough to be handled and installed by a standard site team without specialist equipment.

Two fixing options are available, selectable when placing an order. The root-fixed version is permanently installed below ground to a depth of 300mm, suited to static traffic management and perimeter definition schemes. The removable version uses a below-ground fix shoe, allowing the bollard to be lifted in and out when temporary vehicle access is needed. Both variants are identical above ground, so they can be combined within the same scheme without any visible difference between the two.
