Linby Concrete Bollard

The Linby Concrete Bollard occupies a unique position within the Townscape Products concrete range. At just 450mm above ground, it is considerably shorter than other concrete bollards in the collection, and that low profile is precisely what makes it the right choice for a specific set of applications where a more prominent bollard would be inappropriate or impractical.

There are a number of settings where a low-profile concrete bollard is the considered specification. Shared pedestrian and cycling environments where taller obstacles could present a hazard, boundary definitions at ground level, low-level perimeter marking around landscaped areas, and schemes with planning or design guidelines that restrict the height of street furniture are all situations where the Linby's 450mm above-ground height is an asset rather than a limitation.

Despite its modest height, the Linby is cast from Supreme Grade Artisan Precast Concrete by Townscape Products in the UK and is built to exactly the same quality standards as the taller bollards in the range. At 50kg with a 220mm diameter, it has the mass and solidity of concrete construction and, once installed to a below-ground depth of 300mm, it provides a stable and permanent installation that will perform reliably over the long term.

The overall height of 750mm, with 300mm below ground and 450mm above, gives the Linby a clean, well-proportioned form. Supplied in smooth grey as standard, it has a neat, unobtrusive finish that integrates naturally into hard landscaping schemes without competing with surrounding materials or planting.
