Manchester 940 Polyurethane Bollard

The Manchester 940 is a compact variant of the Manchester polymer bollard, manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products using the same Performa-Cast polyurethane material as the wider range. The key distinction is its above-ground height of 940mm, which sits slightly lower than the standard Manchester, making it a considered choice for locations where a less dominant presence is required without compromising on the perimeter definition a bollard provides.

The bollard is supplied finished in a range of standard colours, which gives it a clean, purposeful appearance that works well in both contemporary urban settings and more traditional streetscapes. For projects where a different colour is specified, Townscape Products can accommodate custom finish requirements, as all painting is carried out in-house.

Installation is via a below-ground fix to a depth of 360mm, with 940mm of the bollard sitting above the surface. The 230mm diameter is consistent with the rest of the Manchester range, which means the 940 can be used alongside other Manchester variants within the same scheme without any visible inconsistency in form or proportion.

At 25kg, it is one of the lighter options in the range, keeping handling and installation straightforward for site teams. Performa-Cast polymer is a durable, weather-resistant material that holds its finish well over time and does not rust or corrode, reducing ongoing maintenance requirements in exposed outdoor environments.
