Manchester Polyurethane Bollard

The Manchester Polyurethane Bollard is part of Townscape Products' Performa-Cast polymer range, a material developed specifically for street furniture applications where the performance of traditional materials is needed without the associated weight. Manufactured in the UK, the Manchester reflects more than five decades of street furniture expertise from one of the country's most established producers.

Performa-Cast polymer is a distinctive material choice for a bollard. It offers the visual solidity and definition of a traditional bollard form while weighing just 26kg, making it considerably easier to handle, transport and install than concrete or steel equivalents. That weight saving is particularly relevant on projects where access is restricted or where ground conditions make heavier installations difficult to manage.

Installation is via a below-ground fix with 300mm of the bollard set into the ground, leaving 1000mm above the surface. The 230mm diameter gives the Manchester a presence appropriate to pedestrianised areas, car park perimeters, footpath edges and urban public spaces without being overly bulky.

Finish options are flexible. The Manchester is painted in a standard range of colours as standard, with bespoke finishes available on request for projects where a specific palette is required. As with all Townscape Products, the finish is applied in-house, giving the manufacturer direct control over quality and consistency. Custom colour requirements can be discussed directly with the sales team.

The Manchester is a practical, adaptable bollard that works across a wide range of sectors, from local authority streetscapes and retail environments to transport settings and educational campuses.
