Manchester Polyurethane Bollard Removable

The Manchester Removable Polyurethane Bollard offers the same proven Performa-Cast polymer construction as the standard Manchester, with one important addition: a below-ground fix shoe that allows the bollard to be removed and reinstated without specialist tools or groundworks.

That removable functionality makes a considerable practical difference in locations where vehicle access needs to be managed flexibly. Loading bays, event spaces, pedestrianised areas with occasional servicing access, and private roads that need to be opened periodically are all settings where a permanently fixed bollard creates operational problems. The Manchester Removable resolves that tension, providing effective perimeter definition when the bollard is in place while allowing authorised access when it is not.

Manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products, the bollard is cast from Performa-Cast polymer, a material that delivers the visual weight and durability expected of a permanent street furniture installation while keeping the unit weight at just 26kg. That combination of low weight and structural integrity is what makes the removable format genuinely workable in practice. A heavy steel or concrete equivalent would be far more awkward to lift in and out regularly.

The dimensions match the standard Manchester: 230mm diameter, 1000mm above ground, with 300mm of the fixing shoe set below the surface. The bollard is painted in a standard colour range as supplied, with custom finishes available on request through the Townscape sales team for projects requiring a specific palette.

As with all products in the Townscape Performa-Cast range, finishes are applied in-house, ensuring consistent quality across multi-unit orders. The Manchester Removable can be specified alongside the fixed Manchester bollard or other products in the polymer range where a mix of permanent and removable units is required within the same scheme.
