Newtown Polyurethane Bollard

The Newtown Polyurethane Bollard sits comfortably in the middle ground of the Townscape Products Performa-Cast polymer range. With a 150mm diameter and a 900mm above-ground height, it is neither the slimmest nor the tallest option available, but that balance is precisely what makes it such a practical choice for a broad range of public realm settings.

There are many locations where a bollard simply needs to do its job reliably without drawing attention to itself: footpath edges, small car park perimeters, residential access points, low-key pedestrianised areas and public open spaces where the street furniture should support the environment rather than dominate it. The Newtown is well-suited to all of these.

Manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products, the bollard is cast from Performa-Cast polyurethane polymer, a material that has been used across the range for its combination of structural durability, weather resistance and low ongoing maintenance requirements. The polymer construction means there is no risk of rust or corrosion developing over time, even in exposed locations where conditions can be demanding.

At 16kg and with installation via a below-ground fix to a depth of 300mm, the Newtown is straightforward to handle and install without specialist equipment. The 150mm diameter gives it enough presence to be clearly seen and effective as a perimeter marker while remaining proportionate in settings where larger bollards would look out of place.
