The Polymer Cycle Stand TFL 750 BG is a Transport for London specified cycle stand manufactured from Townscape's own Performa-Cast Polymer — a high-performance, low-maintenance material developed to withstand the demands of busy urban environments.
Powder coated in a black finish as standard, the stand features three recessed Class 2 reflective yellow bands that provide excellent visibility in low-light conditions, making it particularly well suited to transport hubs, stations, high streets and other areas with heavy footfall and cyclist activity.
Installation is below ground (300mm), providing a secure and stable fixing that resists both accidental impact and deliberate interference. At 750mm above ground, the stand is ergonomically sized to accommodate a wide range of bicycle frame types.
Performa-Cast Polymer offers significant advantages over traditional cast iron or steel alternatives. It will not rust or corrode, requires no painting throughout its service life, and maintains its appearance far longer in exposed outdoor conditions. It is also considerably lighter than metal equivalents, simplifying handling and installation.
