Product Details:
The St Pancras Polymer Bollard is one of the most substantial and visually distinctive options in the Townscape Products Performa-Cast range. At 245mm in diameter, it is the widest bollard in the collection by a considerable margin, giving it a bold, confident presence that commands attention in even the busiest public spaces. That generous diameter is not simply a visual decision, it also contributes to the St Pancras's sense of permanence and authority on the ground, making it well suited to prominent civic locations, high footfall pedestrianised areas, transport interchanges and heritage settings where a quality street furniture installation is expected.
Manufactured in the UK by Townscape Products, the St Pancras is cast from Performa-Cast polyurethane polymer and stands 1023mm above ground. Finishing is in a standard colour range with custom options available on request, applied in-house to ensure consistency across multi-unit installations.
Two variants are available, selectable when placing an order. The standard version is root-fixed below ground to a depth of 300mm and weighs 44.6kg, providing a solid, permanent installation that will not shift or require further attention once in place. The lightweight removable version uses a below-ground fix shoe and, at 29.7kg, is nearly 15kg lighter than the standard, a significant practical advantage for a bollard that will be regularly lifted in and out by site staff. The lighter construction makes routine removal and reinstatement considerably more manageable without any visible difference in the bollard's appearance above ground.
One important detail specific to the removable version: a hinged lid is included as part of the below-ground socket assembly, and the opening orientation, short side or long side, must be confirmed at the point of ordering. This ensures the socket is installed in the correct orientation for the site layout.
Both variants share identical above-ground dimensions and appearance, so they can be used together within the same scheme without any visual inconsistency.
